Following the release of “Glass House”, which got a ton of plays on YouTube and was given praise by the industry’s leading figures, along with international press and radio coverage, TABOU1 is pleased to release “Let’s Make Up”, Bitty McLean’s second single ahead of the release of his new album FORWARD.

Produced with Sly & Robbie in 2020, “Let’s Make Up” is an ode to getting things straightened out, to finding ways to live in love and peace, instead of staying obtusely on one’s position: “stop for a while” and find a middle ground…

True to their reputation as Jamaica’s heaviest riddim section, Sly Dunbar (drums) and Robbie Shakespeare (bass) cook up an instrumental that harks back to a long lost golden era of heavy rubadub riddims on which singers like Gregory Isaacs or Dennis Brown used to lay down their hits. Once again, aided by the legendary Robbie Lyn and Bitty on keyboards, the riddim twins provide a solid foundation on which Bitty’s silky, yet strong, voice floats effortlessly. Nobody matches this combination literally made in heaven!
