July 7, 1978. Bob Marley taps his favorite reggae band to open his gig at Ahoy Hallen, Rotterdam. I have included a review of the show which was published in the August 1978 issue of Black Music & Jazz Review. Marley’s stellar performance was officially released last year as part of the Kaya Deluxe Edition album set, however, Steel Pulse’s opening set has never been officially issued. I have included it below along with a review of the Handsworth Revolution album, which was published in the same issue.
