In my opinion, the best Midnite performance ever captured on video was their legendary show at the Masonic Center in Mill Valley, CA on February 5, 2010. A favorite venue of The Grateful Dead, the first floor of the Masonic Lodge underwent an extensive renovation to become the Sweetwater Music Hall.

Luckily for us the fans, a You Tuber named nomotrouble was on hand to capture this stunning performance from beginning to end – nearly 3 hours of mystical roots reggae.

Vaughn’s strongest performance during the show was his rendition of “Native Story.” If you don’t believe me just watch…

MIDNITE “NATIVE STORY”

For those who have 3 hours to kill, I highly recommend taking in this show. I am forever grateful to nomotrouble for the countless Midnite/Akae Beka performances he captured over the years.
