This great article by Alan di Perna finds Ziggy Marley at Compass Point recording studios with producers Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth crafting what would become an exemplary album – ‘One Bright Day.’ The interview was published in Musician magazine on July 1, 1989. This is the only article I’ve read which includes quotes from Frantz and Weymouth, formerly of the Talking Heads, who really were able to get the very best out of Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers for those first 2 major label albums.
