The world is a better place now that Adidja “Vybz Kartel” Palmer, dancehall mega-star and suspected double-murderer, has been found guilty for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams. Not even his foiled attempt at bribing the jury foreman could keep the dancehall kingpin from behind bars. Also found guilty were associates Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell and Vanessa “Gaza Slim” Saddler. Kartel faces more than twenty years in prison. He will be sentenced on March 27, 2014.
The case was such a slam dunk that the jurors reached the guilty verdict after deliberating for less than two hours. The verdict came down so fast that Justice Lennox Campbell had no choice but to send the jury back to deliberate for at least two hours.
