Here is a mini-mix of “Duppy Conqueror” alternate versions that I think you will really dig.  First we have the vocal track, which is very intriguing because you really get to hear how tight their harmonies were during this period.  Next we have the original version of the tune produced by Lee “Scratch” Perry at the Black Ark.  This is the version which appears on the original 7″ single and on the 1974 Trojan compilation album Rasta Revolution.  The third track in the mix is the version that appears on the Burnin’ LP.  The last version is a live performance captured from Leeds Polytechnic on November 27, 1973.  This performance is included on the Burnin’ Deluxe Edition.
