Included here is a real rarity. Swing Magazine was a Jamaican reggae and entertainment magazine that was popular in the 1970s. In this issue, published in July 1975, we get a rare early look into Marley’s life as he talks candidly about touring England with Johnny Nash, how Don Taylor knows how to “handle” Americans, about the band playing “tight and right” in Canada, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Connecticut, and California. He also says that Americans don’t just like the music, they dig the “stagecraft” explaining:
“Regardless of the size of the stage, you got to move. Use it up, he, he, he.”
