It appears, without question, that the existing tour venues and dates archive for Peter Tosh contains significant errors and inaccuracies.  This is why we here at the MIDNIGHT RAVER BLOG continue to conduct extensive research in an effort to correct some of the errors and inaccuracies regarding the existing archive of Peter Tosh performances, interviews, appearances, and other media.  Part of this archiving effort involves bringing to light Peter Tosh performances that are missing the archive.  We take this work very seriously because these shows are a vital part of the history of one of the world’s most revered reggae ambassadors.

The latest addition to the growing list of undocumented shows involves a show which occurred on September 26, 1982 at Painters Mill Star Theatre in Owings Mills, MD, which is just outside Baltimore.  Jimmy Cliff, who joined the Mama Africa tour as opening act in August 1982, opens for Peter Tosh on what is described in the attached review as a cold and rainy night frought with technical problems.

The concert review by J.D. Considine was published in the Baltimore Sun on September 27, 1982.
