I am happy to announce that the Midnight Raver Blog has reached 100,000 site views in just 8 short months!
When I launched this blog in October 2011 as a way to share my passion for reggae, I could not have imagined this kind of success, or the level of support we’ve received from the reggae community. I’m humbled by the many people who have supported our efforts here.
A special thanks goes out to my friend Roger Steffens who told me this was a worthwhile endeavor and has provided endless guidance, criticism, and even a little of his own archives.
Also to the torchbearers, those who have helped keep this music alive and well, and have provided immeasurable help to me over the past 8 months: Marco Virgona and the folks at www.bobmarleymagazine.com; Dubwise Garage at www.bobmarleyconcerts.com; Emmanuel Parata at www.bobmarleyarchive.com; Fred P. at http://voiceofthesufferers.com; Jahcoustic Joe Jurgenson; KAZO at http://kazo.wailers.free.fr; Cedella Marley at www.anicetime.com; Rohan Marley at www.marleycoffee.com; Lee Jaffe at www.leejaffe.com; Mark Miller; Fekisha Cumbo; Donald Kinsey at www.donaldkinsey.com; Keith Anderson at www.bobandy.com; Bianca Anderson; Enrique Romano Cabrera AKA was1; Tammy Beveridge at http://movementofjahpeople.com; Josetxo Mintegi at www.bob-marley.es; Mick Sleeper at www.upsetter.net; David Katz; John Masouri; Dermot Hussey; Aston and Akila Barrett; Mike Van Der Linde; Bersa Gong; Marina Sacedon; Alex Marley; Squidly Cole; Sander, Danny, Ras Mikeyy and the folks at www.worldareggae.com; Clive Chin; Doug “Midnight Dread” Wendt at www.midnightdread.com; Chico, Rootsouljah, Gong, Jah Lion, Don Bean and everyone at www.reggaetraders.net; Lowell Taubman M.D.; Kim Gottlieb-Walker at www.lenswoman.com; Neville Garrick; Collette Garrick; Solet Gardiner-Edgar; Michelle and everyone at Tuff Gong Worldwide; Andrew Tosh, Dave Tosh, and everyone at The Peter Tosh Estate (@petertosh on twitter); Lindsay Donald; George “Fully” Fullwood; Esther Anderson at http://rastaleaks.wordpress.com; Rebee Garofalo; emch at Subatomic Sound System; Larry McDonald; Eric Smith and the folks at Easy Star Records; Ras Craig at Peter Tosh Archive; everyone else, you know who you are!

In commemoration of this huge event in the world of MidnightRaverBlog, I compiled a mix of my favorite Bob Marley and the Wailers’ live performances titled “Midnight Raver’s Majestic Marley Mega-Mix.”
Vodpod videos no longer available.
Also planning big ‘tings for later this week and into next week to commemorate this milestone. Stay tuned! Soon come!

Congrats from Brazil! You renewed my passion about Marley, his music and message. I´ve never been a collector, just a little fan trying to discover new sounds, learn more about bob´s life and how reggae music still strong in the world. Thank so much for keeping Bob alive!
