Part of the reason for launching this blog was to bring the more obscure interviews and journals of Bob Marley to light. While mining the web recently for interviews, I stumbled across a short essay by journalist Carol Cooper regarding Marley’s final days at Dr. Joseph Issel’s clinic in Bavaria. It sheds light on Marley’s physical condition while at the clinic, the many friends and associates who visited him there, and the struggle to ensure that his legacy continued. Enjoy!
