One of the most prominent of the Channel One acts was a duo named Earth & Stone. Highly regarded, celebrated, but still overlooked mainly due to their ‘mysterious’ disappearance from the scene in the early 1980s, Earth & Stone, consisted of lead singer Clifton Howell and second lead/harmony Albert Bailey. They are aware of what the music caused at the time, and what should have happened for them, but unfortunately they never achieved the kind of success that they truly deserved.
