“Three Meals A Day,” Dennis Brown’s driving, rhythmic ode to those bredren serving time in prison, is the strongest tune on the ‘Joseph’s Coat of Many Colours’ album. Sandwiched between two other notable tunes, “Water From the Well” and “Home Sweet Home,” the track features an uptempo, driving rhythm, ridiculously intricate hand drumming by Sticky and Skully, and a scorching guitar solo by Chinna, who really stands out here. For me, reggae doesn’t get much better than this.
