Legendary foundation tune by the early 70s vocal duo called God Sons. The track is produced by Glen Brown and features the hand drumming of Bongo Herman on the version. The single titled “Merry Up” is pressed on a blank Pantomine label. The most striking thing about this tune, aside from the melodica, is the sound quality. This 1972 pressing is in near mint condition after nearly 40 years. The disc was purchased by Doctor Dread for his Washington, DC-based radio show which was broadcast during the mid/late 1970s. Doc would leave his radio job in 1979 to launch a little reggae label called RAS Records.
