In an effort to commemorate and memorialize the great Peter Tosh during this month of September – September 11, 2012 being the 25th annivseray of his brutal slaying –  the Midnight Raver Blog will dedicate the majority of our posts to the man, his music, and his message.

Today we have a review of Tosh’s show at The Bayou in Washington D.C.  on March 14, 1979.  The review, written by journalist Tom Basham, was published in the Washington Post on March 23, 1979.
